Lance Adams-Schneider

Sir Lancelot Raymond "Lance" Adams-Schneider (11 November 1919 – 3 September 1995) was a New Zealand politician of the National Party.
==Biography==


Adams-Schneider stood in the Hutt electorate against Walter Nash in 1957, coming second for National. He then represented the Hamilton electorate from the 1959 by-election to 1969, and then the Waikato electorate from 1969 to 1981, when he retired.
He was a Cabinet minister, serving as Minister of Health. He was later the Ambassador from New Zealand to the United States (1982–85) and to Mexico (1982–83).
In the 1984 Queen's Birthday Honours, Adams-Schneider was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael and St George, for public services.〔(''London Gazette'' (supplement), No. 49769, 15 June 1984 ). Retrieved 6 February 2013.〕
